I dont know if it would be First Person as of yet or something else. Right now it is just a thought. I'm doing more research on the Idea of such right now. If anybody has any idea's you can send them my way at the email system here. I will check it on a daily basis. I have been looking at diffrent 3D Engines to use or even maybe going all the way as far as a text based game. It would be free of course. There are reasons for that. If i get enough of a response and people like the idea i may even make it open source. Dont know yet. But as i stated it will be free for anyone to use. My advice would be to email the man himself at : monte (at) montecook (dot) com. Try to explain what you're trying to do exactly (I gather you're talking about computer games, but I could be wrong, so try to be clearer, my friend). Explain what you want to achieve, and then whether Monte would see an objection to it or not. You'll find out the man takes time to answer, but you'll get a straight, constructive answer. Also, if you want to discuss some aspect of your design on the Ptolus forum, by all means, let's discuss it there! Welcome again, Porthos.
