old twf questions | ||
|
I was cleaning out my e-mail, and I came across this q-a from Monte Cook. Most of you know this stuff already, but some might not.
> Can a character go from fighting with one weapon to > fighting with two weapons in his turn by using the > quickdraw feat? If he makes two attacks during his turn, he takes the penalties, even if he attacks with one weapon first and then quickdraws the other. If so, must the player declare at the > beginning of his turn that he might attempt an > off-hand attack--and incur the twf penalties from the > beginning of his turn--or do the penalites become > active only when the condition of wielding two weapons > arises and deactivate when the condition no longer > exists, as when the character drops or throws one of > the weapons? The first one. Hope this helps someone. It helped me. Manifold |

question on critical hits and sneak attacks... | ||
|
hello, I have a question concerning sneak attacks:
In the 3.5 PHB it states that "Any creature that is immune to critical hits is not vulnerable to sneak attacks." However, I believe that in Masters of the Wild there is a General Feat that allows a PC to designate one weapon to do damage against a particular catagory of creatures that are normally immune to critical hits. If the Rogue took this feat, would he or she still be able to do sneak attacks with that weapon using this feat? Thank you! |
