Okay, so I'm playing a 3.5 campaign as a druid that, in his past attempted to wild shape early and messed up, so for role play reasons, he's stuck as a wolf. It's interesting, and cool at level 1, but I keep thinking... When I get higher level and my allies are doing like 1d8+1d6 and have like +3 and all that cool stuff, I'll still just have 1d6 bite attack... Now, I found the Improved Natural Attack which will improve it, but I don't know how else to get it better... I convinced my DM to let me combine Produce Flame and Magic Fang into a level 3 spell called Fire Fang which allows the +1 of a regular magic fang and an additional 1d6 fire damage on bites for the standard duration of Magic Fang for whatever level. I intend to get permanence at some point if I can, but I don't know what more could be done.
Also, being limited to hide armor at the most is annoying, especially to make it barding, but I found dragon hide, unfortunately it'll cost a ton or take forever to kill something big enough to yield enough for good armor. Again, the only think I can think of is permanence on like Barkskin and such spells. Magic items are a bit limited, but I'm looking for feats, and usable items to improve my character as a quadruped beast. I heard about items in Savage Species, like Beast Claws, but can a wold use that? Evidently, according to the monster manual a wolf only has one natural weapon and it's bite attack...
