Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None I'm sure it says this somewhere, but I'm at work with limited resources. What's the age a hobgoblin would be considered an "adult." The hobgoblin equivilent of 17 or 18 for a human. I want to say they mature faster, but, I'm not finding anything concrete atm. Anyone know off the top of their heads? If not, its my story, I can tell it like I want too. -8 modifier to crunch-fu

Yeah, i hadn't run across it in any of the stuff I had on hand and a quick google search didn't do me any more good. I'm just gonna go with the idea that a 13-15 year old hobgoblin is the same as a 17-19 year old human. Works for my purposes. -8 modifier to crunch-fu

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Actually, from a medieval perspective, a 13-15 year old human would be a 18-19 year old today, if not older. I mean, by 15 a man or woman would likely be married and working in their chosen (or chosen for them) field (which might be an actual field). A woman unmarried by the age of 24 might very well be considered a spinster, while today a woman is more likely to raise eyebrows by getting married at an age younger than 24. Just throwing that out there.

However, I care more about physical maturity (male especially) more than just "age of adult responsibility." Sure, humans keep adding muscle naturally til 25 or so, but 18-19, you're pretty much done growing. On average. Good ol' Glint has been on his own since around 12, and got hooked up with Hiram at 15, the cusp of true adulthood. Nothing like a 6'3 hobgoblin and a 3'3 halfling traisping around together.
