Spells like Disintegrate or even Scorching Ray don't have an entry for "Target", they produce an Effect of a Ray. Ditto for the Orb spells. So Spell Turning won't stop them?
This bugs me, because those spells clearly do target a creature. They're not an area effect. Would it be unbalancing to allow spell turning to work against Rays & similar Ranged Touch spells?
On a similar but different note, it appears that Acid Arrow and the various Orb spells, as written, can be used against an opponent in a Globe of Invulnerability or even an Anti-magic Field. This too bothers me, on a basic level: if you're in an anti-magic field, spells shouldn't harm you. That's what an anti-magic field is supposed to be. (I know, I know, anti-magic field is a legacy spell that probably shouldn't even be in the game for the trouble it causes) It just rubs me the wrong way. What's unaffected by an anti-magic field? Well, wall of force, prismatic sphere, artifacts, deities, and, um... a bunch of low-level Conjuration spells. That's like building a moon-size battlestation capable of blowing up a planet, but forgetting to bolt a manhole cover over the one exhaust port leading to the reactor. Except, you know, much less cinematic, and more annoying.
