I've been thinking about a weapon similar to this for a while now and would like some input on it.
Vampiric: This sword is engulfed in crimson light and leaves behind painful bruising around any wound it makes, transferring life energy to its wielder.
Effect: A weapon enchanted with this property converts the extra damage from a weapon's enhancement bonus into negative energy damage and the wielder is healed for an amount of damage equal to the weapon's enhancement bonus each time it successfully strikes an opponent. Undead are healed by negative energy.
Cost: +5,000gp?
So basically a +1 Vampiric Longsword would deal 1d8 damage + 1 negative energy damage and you would heal 1 point of damage per hit. a +5 Vampiric Longsword would deal 1d8 + 5 points of negative energy damage and you would heal 5 points of damage per hit.
Thoughts?
