I was wondering if anyone there was ever thinking of doing a class or style of martial artist character type using Chi (maybe from a oriental setting like
rokugan?) that could command/use the elements (non spellcaster) in combat giving combined abilities to the character like those of the characters in Avatar
the last
airbender and Tokyo underground. Maybe something associated with elemental dragons combined into a martial arts character class or style for use in the D20 System
preferably the 3.5 D&D system? and if noone thaught of it could you please do one?????
it would be totally cool if you did.... Thanks for your time....

Well, you might want to check out Jade Oath (linked in my sig - yeah, I know its a shameless plug, but the question was asked...). There isn't a single class that does all that necessarily and nothing that is exactly like the characters in Avatar, but there are lots of Ch'i feats that work under under special rules for Ch'i that any character class can acquire (some more easily than others). New classes include the Demon Hunter (just what it sounds like, but with a few subclass options for the style of hunter you choose to be), Kusa (think ninja), Kensai (think sword saint or weapon master; basically a master of a single type of weapon such as the bow, sword, spear, or whatever other weapon type you choose), and the Enlightened Scholar (think adventuring scholar, traveling bureaucrat, martial artist physician, or mad scientist - this class is flexible enough that you can make of it what you want within the general concept of the class). The new classes really focus on the ch'i (there is a pun there that you won't get until you read the rules...), though the enlightened scholar does so only if you choose the option to. The Kensai and the Kusa really emphasize using Ch'i the most, I think. The variant Monk class has lots of options with Ch'i and uses the seven major Chakra of the body. It is also divided into several subclasses, so you
could have a yamabushi monk, a seng monk, a kenza monk, a sohei monk, a contemplative monk, etc. They each have abilities unique to their subclass.
