So I'm actually surprised no one else has done this that I can find. Realistically there isn't too much online data or comunity for this game so
it's understandable.
Anyway, I made this Excell program that allows you to very quickly and easily string together components to make your spells. It gives you a readout of the total spell component cost (and thus the DC) and if you put in your mages level, also your exhaustion raing for that spell.
Check it out here: www.chekovsite.com/regulators/SpellWorksheet_v1.1.zip
*Quick Update: www.chekovsite.com/regulators/SpellWorksheet_v1.3.zip*
Latest version: www.chekovsite.com/regulators/SpellWorksheet_v1.45.zip
Probobly the last version I'll releace unless there are bugs pointed out or sugestions made.
There is a bug that prevents channeling or trigger durations from functioning if it drops the subtotal below 0. Not sure how to fix it without ruining the code for component focus.
To make use of this tool you'll need access to microsoft office. If your PC doesn't have this program, head over to http://www.openoffice.org/ where you can download a free program that opens these files.
For home rules, sheet 2 of the workbook contains the lists for the components and their costs. Just adjust the cost listed but otherwise try and leave the lists alone as this is where sheet 1 gets most of it's formulas. Adjusting the cumulative bunuses is a little less obvios unless you are familiar with the program.
Improvements will be made based on critic feedback
