I've been thinking about it all day, how I'd manage a campaign.
It would work for a Buffy-style setting. When I run one, I think I'll get my group to pick this stuff, as well as anything from d20 cybernetics they want. I think other races could also work, taking away a feat and skill points, and adding the racial modifiers (elf, dwarf, etc.) to allow them to be changlings. Frankly, I like 4e enough to modify certain aspects of McWoD: BAB and iterative attacks are out; skills ranks/training; and I'll go with static defences for AC/Fort/Ref/Will. Also, the Vampires have to go back to standard clans; and I'll get rid of the clan-based negative stats as negatives aren't fun (people are gifted, but I'd rather give them flaws on a case-by-case basis than penalties) However, these are the best vampires/werewolf PCs out there so far. When it happens, I'll try to get it up here. I think there are aspects I will houserule, and create my own setting, but yeah. I'm enjoying reading this stuff. |
