Anyone know if there's a way to reduce the resolution, or the quality, for the deluxe Ptolus map? I can't even tell my printer to accept one page at a
time, because it's trying to send 6MB to the printer and the printer doesn't have that much memory. Barring that, is there a better program to use
than adobe, one that maybe can send something more compressed to the printer? None of the printer settings I can find seems to change anything about the file
size to the printer.

Printing in greyscale MIGHT help, but given the graphicy nature still might be too large.
There's the Advanced button in the Adobe dialog box. From there, Adobe suggests (here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfs...lId=316508&sliceId=1 ) to adjust the Transparency settings. You have to uncheck Print As Image for the controls to work. Looks like you can lower the resolution there too. Good luck. |

Well I'm hoping to avoid having a greyscale-only copy - I wanted to mount the map on posterboard sections, with one side color and the other side B&W,
ready to be marked up as needed while the color side stayed pristine.
Those other options sound like they might work. Will try that, thanks. |

I'm not sure if I'm just doing something wrong, but I see the map and there's no purchase/add to cart/whatever button. Back in stock Jaunary
