I know, gross right? I gotta say though, I have had one for just over a year now and I haven't had a sinus infection. And I used to get really nasty ones
that made my head, ears, and teeth hurt. I've been wanting to rave since just days after I bought it, but I wanted to make sure it would work for my
allergies as well as the changing air (humidity, lousy inversion, pollution and pollen levels, etc.) Now I gotta rave. It's worked all year round.
If you don't know what these are, they look like a gravy boat with a long spout (and thus I will kill gravy for everyone that reads this) that you fill with a saline solution. Then you pour the solution up one nostril and then it drains out the other. Then you repeat with the other nostril. I won't describe the rest since it's gross. I was nervous I would just choke and I rolled my eyes when I heard they are purchased at holistic medicine/natural food stores. I also balked at the $26 price tag when saline nose drops are less than a dollar. However, I'm never going back. I no longer need tylenol for the headaches and tooth pain, and I haven't had to constantly pop Claritin all August long. It has even toned down my snoring. Not that I notice--I sleep like a rock--but that's what I hear.
