Mangoes are just mangoes... sweet but homogenous and uninteresting. Kumquats bring that subtle balance of sweet and sour, of soft and firm. They are so much more dynamic and interesting than a simple one-note mango! er, I mean... um...

Well, the other thread is closed but I wanted to add that I take every opportunity to point out on these boards what I don't like about kumquats.

I think that as fewer people come around here, we've gotten either a) chummier, b) more relaxed, c) a little more gauche, or d) all of the above. Not
saying it's a bad thing, but I agree it's different.

About french-canadian porn, I dare say that it is a subject that I have a lot of academic knowledge of. There's even a tv show mostly about it named Webdreams. And by the way, maple syrup is canadian, not french-canadian. So it would be more like poutine that makes french-canadian porn different.
