You are a PC in a RPG where combat to the death is one of the primary themes. You and your party are in a battle to the death with an party of NPCs who are
evil and readily willing to kill you using any tactics possible. They are dangerous, and single attacks are devastating. You finally knock the foe you chose
to fight to the ground bleeding, he looks unconscious. Your party is busy fighting the other NPCs in the evil party, and you would like to help them. The
wrinkle is, there is a 5% chance (1 in 20) that if you turn your attention somewhere else, that this foe will rise out of unconsciousness, fully ready to fight
again spontaneously! In fact, hes only 75% hurt. Each round after each death, the enemy gets to roll a save. If he rolls 1 - 9 he gets a strike against him.
If he rolls a 10 through 19 nothing happens, and if he rolls a 20 he gets up spontaneously. The foe must roll three strikes to die.
