They were never my thing. They were fragments that worked well for other people, but for me it was never worth the investment. I was kind of glad that the magazines were ditched, because I liked the WotC writers better.

But I have nothing but love for Pathfinder. I like nice, fancy, GOOD adventures. Red Hand of Doom was quite possibly the best thing I ever bought; I think I could run it a few more times and still get some good play out of it.
So I picked up the first pathfinder, the Burnt Offerings one, and it is much the same; it's rich, creative, with neat monsters, a great setting, and a certain sort of flare that made me eager to DM it.
