I was wondering if anyone there was ever thinking of doing a class or style of martial artist character type using Chi (maybe from a oriental setting like rokugan?) that could command/use the elements (non spellcaster) in combat giving combined abilities to the character like those of the characters in Avatar the last airbender...

I kept hearing about the "Ten Courts", that they were Asian, so I got off my pasty European duff and looked into it:

Wikipedia has it under the heading "Diyu". Apparently there are ten courts but eighteen hells, maybe up to 134. (Under Catholic thought I suppose most of them would be technically "purgatory"; when the sentence is over you can get out.)

Tip for planewalkers: the one you don't want to be sentenced...

Printing the deluxe map

Anyone know if there's a way to reduce the resolution, or the quality, for the deluxe Ptolus map? I can't even tell my printer to accept one page at a time, because it's trying to send 6MB to the printer and the printer doesn't have that much memory. Barring that, is there a better program to use than adobe, one that maybe can send something more compressed to the printer? None of the printer settings I can find seems to change anything about the file size to the printer.

Veins of the Earth Campaign

After reading MattF's campign journal for Monte's underdark campaign, I was curious if at some point in the future we could expect to see this published as a new Malhavoc product? Obviously weve seen parts of this campaign already with the BoXM and the free Earth Blood download. I think it would be cool to have the rest as well. An interesting idea would be if it was published as a pdf in serial format. so every couple of months (or whatever time frame allows Monte to do his normal...

I wonder, I know Malhavoc is Monte's pet project, but there have been instances of him working with others (Mike Mearls).

Here's some talent that's been laid off (at xmas no less) and could do wonders with more 4e products/iron heroes products.

What if Malhavoc got back in gear for fourth edition, hiring these guys, with Monte overseeing the process?

To me, the concept is pure awesome.

I'd love to see more Iron Heroes or see Malhavoc...

Zachary, one of the Ennies judges, has stated that a few companies (bigger ones and/or favorites among Ennies staff) were able to bend the submission rules. Among these, he cites that Eperimental Might II would not have been eligible if the submission cutoff date was not changed just for its benefit. Zachary is not known for drama or wild behavior so I'm inclined to believe him.

Hi, I'm completely new here, and was wondering if there is any chance in hell that Ironborn could pop into 4th Edition. Even as a free little thing. I'm really a big fan of the race, especially since they compliment Warforged big-time. I even did up some stats for them!

I'm not going to mince words, here. Apparently RPGNow/DriveThurRPG (collectively known as OneBookShelf) had some kind of catastrophic database error, and our Share the Enlightenment Program is hosed. Records of referrals are lost.

I'm not one to pass the buck, but this was entirely out of Malhavoc Press' control. I'm pretty unhappy about it.

We appreciate any and all referrals, and will continue to appreciate them. However, since we don't have records...

Fans of Malhavoc Press now have more incentive to share their love of the products with their friends. It's probably likely that you know someone who wants to keep playing 3E (either instead of, or along with, 4E) but who's never bought a MP product. Maybe they've always been a D&D gamer who "only buys core." But now there's no "core" for them to buy. Now's the time to enlighten them--and get something out of it yourself.
