Anyone else notice that Tavan Zith has Craft +9 and Profession +13? So...what career sounds good for a formerly Lawful Evil dark elf monk?

Edit: on further reflection I gave him Craft (calligraphy) and Profession (scribe). I have this image of him in some dark shrine transcribing dark litanies and vile sonnets.

The Necklace of Natural Weapons (Savage Species) allows any weapon special qualities to be applied to the necklace. These qualities in turn are applied to the natural weapons of the animal.

Therefore, can we have a Spell Storing Necklace of Natural Weapons?

This has probably been asked before (many times), so I apologize.

So, you create a diety from a mortal creature (say, an Outsider with some class levels), and add the abilities of a Quasi-Diety or a Demigod to it. How do you calculate the Challenge Rating? What if it was a lesser diety?

(I wouldn't go higher than that - I think attacking, even killing a deity that was once a mortal and still has a mortal form is one thing - but higher level dieties are...

I was fleshing out an adventure idea and pinged another DM to see if it "Fit" the theme of Ptolus.

Basically the adventurers are hired in the Docks to recover a stolen chest. Fairly typical.

They recover the chest, the the agent who hired them is killed....so it becomes their property.

What would any self respecting character do? Open the chest of course.....inside to find 10 Pounds of Shivvel.

What do they do with it?

Hobgoblin Age

I'm sure it says this somewhere, but I'm at work with limited resources.

What's the age a hobgoblin would be considered an "adult." The hobgoblin equivilent of 17 or 18 for a human.

I want to say they mature faster, but, I'm not finding anything concrete atm.

Anyone know off the top of their heads? If not, its my story, I can tell it like I want too.

Looking for some help in building two skill challenges using Pathfinder rules rather than 4e. I have a group of 4 PCs - all humans; bard, fighter, paladin, and gutter mage; 4th level. The campaign began in the Warrens with all PCs either current or former residents. The bard and gutter mage are attempting to infiltrate the Pale Dogs while the paladin and fighter are investigating kidnappings that they believe are the work of chaos cults. Spell Storing Item Question

According to the DM Guide, a weapon can have the "spell storing" magical enhancement that lets a weapon store a spell that activates when the weapon does damage to a target.

Can I put a beneficial spell into the spell-storing weapon and use it to buff an ally?

And more importantly, can I attach five small daggers, each with the spell storing enhancement, on a plunger and cast five buffing spells on an ally with a single stab of the plunger into my ally?
